The teams behind each stop along the Culture Trail involve not only European House of Arts members from Romania, Germany, France and the U.K. but also the teams behind our cooperation partners. www.kultur.frankfurt.de www.internationalesreferat.frankfurt.de www.die-fabrik-frankfurt.de The start of the trail in Frankfurt am Main has been organised by a highly competent team of cultural institutions, whose experience together are a guarantee for an amazing festival with the artists from the Culture Trail, as well as local and regional artists. www.soltvadkert.hu In Hungary our partner is the whole town of Soltvadkert under the organisation of the towns cultural and touristic director Mr. Lajos Káposzta. Lajos is also organising a children's weekend for the Culture Trail festival and is inviting all the local artists, bands and traditional dancers and musicians to join in. www.moenchenholzhausen.de
Mönchenholzhausen maybe just a village between Erfurt and Weimar, but the action there, once a year during the festival 'Ars et Sequentia is enough for everyone to get a good taste of Europe. Artists from all the corners of our continent come to celebrate the arts with, among and for the people. www.thueringer-eisenbahnverein.de Dreams can come true! In the Railway Associations grounds you can make all your childhood fantasies reality. The association has a wide range of historical locomotives from different times and the Culture Trail festival will take place among this playground of technical wonder. Experience Weimar in a manner you will never forget. www.mazieresdetouraine.com Mazières de Touraine is the other village on the Culture Trail. In the middle of the Touraine forests and surrounded by wine-makers of renown, Vouvray, Chinon, Borgeuil, Saumur, Mazières de Touraine is becoming a centre for a very important form of art meeting. Foreign artists live in with the locals, as in Mönchenholzhausen in Germany, and the two villages are developing a new taste in European integration with fine arts, artisanal crafts, music, dance and literature as a means of communication for everyone, rather than presenting beautiful things only to the chosen few. www.havenkwartier.org When artists in The Netherlands do something, then the community, region and country are supportive. The Havenkwartier in Deventer is an arts association that is partner to the Culture Trail and, although the Dutch are already probably the most outgoing of Europeans in terms of art, they immediately embraced the idea of the Culture Trail and a festival to be remembered will take place in the Havenkwartier. www.lincoln.ac.uk

www.lincolnbig.co.uk The final stage in Lincoln, England will involve not only local and regional artists, but also many different groups of arts, business and religion. The involvement of the Polish Community, the institutions of the City Hall, the University, the Bishop and many more show the dimension of more than a mere interest in culture, but the wish for a city to participate in the making of English and European ideals they want to be a part of: inclusion, creativity, innovation and friendship, a value that many are seeking today. |
